How do I know which free software to download?
The Digital Download Center offers audiobooks, ebooks, music and video. The software you need depends on the type of device you have and which digital media you'd like to download. The table below provides an overview:

What digital media or formats can I check out?
• eBooks - An eBook is a digital, onscreen version of a published physical book, magazine or graphic novel. eBooks can be downloaded and read on a computer or portable device (such as PDAs, Pocket PCs, and Smartphones.) It's text-based. Some eBooks are interactive, with sound and hyperlinks. (Adobe® EPUB eBooks, Adobe® PDF eBooks, Mobipocket® eBooks.)
• Audiobooks - An audiobook is the digital recorded reading of a book. It can be downloaded and listened to on a computer or transferred to a variety of portable devices, including the iPod®. Many audiobooks can also be burned to CD. (OverDrive WMA Audiobooks, Overdrive MP3 Audiobooks.
• Video - Downloadable Video is video that has been optimized for download and can be watched on a computer or transferred to a compatible mobile device. (OverDrive Video)
• Music - Music titles usually consist of an entire album, and many music titles include a supplementary PDF with liner notes. (OverDrive Music )
